Snareweight, compared

Snareweight dampeners let you control snare and tom ring without tape or gel on the head. I stock the full range in Australia and ship from Victoria, so there's no waiting on overseas freight.
For a light touch, start with the M1, M50 or M100. The M80 and V1 sit in the middle, and the Fader F1 is there for something different. For heavy dampening, the solid brass #5 takes leather inserts, and the 70's inserts are the most effective way I know of to kill top head overtones.
If your snare has cast hoops, add a Pro Lock, because cast hoops aren't magnetic. Check each product for which hoops it suits. The M1 and M80, for example, don't suit S-hoops.
