How each drum is inspected

Every line in bold below is quoted from one of Jared’s own listings. The inspection sheet on each drum puts the same checks in the same order, so you can compare drums at a glance.

  1. 01

    Found in person

“After sifting through several rough ones, this was the best vintage version at the show.”

Ludwig Supraphonic 14x6.5 · 70's (Pointed Blue Olive Badge) · Bonham Snare
  2. 02

    Stripped and checked

“I then got it on the work bench and stripped it down, gave it a solid clean and check over before re-assembling and set up ready to play.”

    Ludwig Supraphonic 14x5 · 60's (Keystone Badge)
  3. 03

    Honest about what changed

“I replaced the top hoop with a new COB triple flange as the original was not brass.”

    Ludwig COB Supraphonic *RARE* · 14 x 5 · Chicago
  4. 04

    Set up with fresh heads

“Everything was stripped down for a check over and clean up before re-assembling with new heads.”

Ludwig Acrolite · Pointed Blue/Olive Badge
  5. 05

    Photographed as the exact drum

“Set-up and ready to go. Photos are of this exact drum”

    WFL Snare · 1950's · 14x5 · Mahogany w/ re-rings
  6. 06

    Priced for its condition

“showing signs of it's age, typical of these vintage snares, but that's why we've got it at such a fair price.”

Ludwig Supraphonic Super Sensitive 14x5 · 70's (Pointed Blue Olive Badge)

What every sheet checks
