Snareweight Fader F1 Drum Dampener

The Snareweight Fader F1 is a slider-controlled drum dampener for top and bottom resonant heads, with settings from 1 to 5 or off.

Move the slider to dial in exactly how much dampening you want, all the way to "off" for none. A thumb screw changes the pressure of the leather on the drum head, which effectively adds weight to the head by locking in the pressure. Snareweight calls it gravity proof. On a top batter head, Snareweight says it has the widest range of dampening of its models, from less than the M1 to as much as the M80.

It's for drummers who want precision dampening: tighten up your toms, especially floor toms, get rid of the warble from a bottom head, and control decay and punch. It's especially good for recording, or for plain control of the sustain without messing with the tone.
