Low Boy Puff Daddy Beater · Amber Stain

The Puff Daddy has a soft, lush premium shearling lambswool puff on a 100g maple head. You get the tone of a vintage lambswool beater with a wider dynamic range, from whisper quiet to thunderously loud, and the 1/4" (6mm) wood rim adds power and rich, full low end. It's a great pick for jazz, Americana, folk and light rock. The puff is held on by a magnet, so it's replaceable. This one-off custom finish is a timeless amber stain.

Low Boy beaters are hand finished in California from North American hard maple, on an aerospace-grade chrome-plated steel rod that's guaranteed never to bend or break. The rod is 8" (203mm) long and 1/4" (6.35mm) thick, so it fits nearly every bass drum pedal built in the last 100+ years. The finish is tung oil.

Every finish is a one-off custom, so the beater in the photos is the exact beater you'll get. Every Low Boy comes in its own canvas bag. Price is per beater, so for a double pedal add 2 to your cart.
