The Dragonfly Suede Kick has a big, dark, bass-y sound with a super clear, leathery attack. It's built from 18 layers of tightly stacked suede leather, and it's a true work-horse.
It's both more articulate and darker than Dragonfly's original Medium Canvas, and warmer all around than the original Hard Leather.
Dragonfly Percussion has been making mallets for the world's top orchestras for 20 years, and its kick drum beaters bring that attention to timbre to the drum set. They're adapted from Viennese-style timpani mallets, and the full-bodied, warm sound and responsive feel is unlike anything else you've tried.
